WE ARE HUMBLED BY OUR PAST AND EAGER FOR OUR FUTURE. Our founder, Tim Kovac, may just have brewing in his blood. Legend has it that way back when, his family won a brewery during a high-stakes card game and supplied beer to some of the earliest settlers to America. Must have been a hell of a hand. Inspired by this story, Tim founded Small Town Brewery in Wauconda, IL with the goal of honoring gruit-inspired brewing. Using a variety of herbal ingredients, Tim crafted botanical beers with the unmistakable taste of nostalgia that became loved by many.
In fact, after introducing Not Your Father’s Root Beer, bottles flew off shelves so quickly that we couldn’t keep up! After ramping up production, we are now sold across the US. But we didn’t stop there. We soon followed up with more classic flavors such as Not Your Father’s Ginger Ale and Not Your Father’s Vanilla Cream Ale. Most recently, we whipped up our newest batch of brews: Not Your Mom’s reminds you of all the comforts of home you remember, either from real life or TV.

Since its official inception in 1996, Fueled By Ramen Records has been less of a record label than it has been a brand for the evergrowing community that has embraced what the label stands for. The label has become the nucleus for today’s best and brightest punk-inspired rock/pop bands like Paramore, twenty one pilots, Panic! At The Disco, All Time Low and many more.
